Printing Resistance 2017 Silkscreen on parachute cloth, bias tape
This project was part of a printmaking workshop series organized by Garrick Imatani at Southern Oregon University in collaboration with the campus Queer Resource Center. In May 2017, I facilitated a workshop with students, asking them the following two questions: How do we make the invisible visible? How do we make the intangible tangible? I taught the students how to screenprint and in response to the prompts, they created message banners. The banners were installed on campus.
